Thigh High Boots that will Upgrade your Fall-Winter Wardrobe

I’m a bit obsessed with over-the-knee and thigh high boots. I love them for allowing me to ditch my old itchy tights for a super trendy, edgy look. Thigh high boots also help keep my Fall and Winter dresses in rotation even when it gets really chilly. Plus, there are so many different styles, vibes, and looks of thigh high boots, so there’s something out there for everyone!

Add Some Edge

I love to grab these flat, leather, almost biker-like thigh high boots to add an edge to any outfit. They can really take your look to the next level. I love throwing these on when I’m re-wearing an outfit because they completely transform the look and keep you from being repetitive. Plus, a flat style boot makes the thigh high boots trend so much more wearable. They have effortlessly been integrated into my wardrobe!

So Sophisticated

I have a pair of light grey, suede Stuart Weitzman thigh high boots that are my top choice to dress up an outfit. They are very slimming and elegant, perfect for a date or a night out and make my legs look so long. I always gravitate to these when I am wearing a feminine dress or when I want to look more sophisticated. These boots come in so many heel heights, so anyone can find their perfect look. Plus, there are many affordable look-alikes, so any budget can achieve this beautifully sophisticated style.

Utterly Effortless

I love thigh high boots because I think that they can make certain outfits look so effortless. When paired with dresses such as trendy and casual styles or chunky knit sweater dresses, over-the-knee boots can make your outfit look fun and carefree. For this style, I usually go for flatter boots, since heeled ones can dress up an outfit a lot.

What I’m Wearing

My plaid t-shirt dress is from Zara and my boots are Fiorentini Baker. On my lips, I’m wearing a L’Oreal Matte Lip Paint in Cinna-Bomb.

Hopefully, this post gave you some ideas on how to style your thigh high boots. They are so much more wearable than you’d think and this trend doesn’t look like it’s on its way out anytime soon. They are absolutely my favorite trend this Fall and Winter. What’s yours?
