It may have been just the Easter spirit getting to me, but this last weekend in Vancouver was the first time it really felt like Spring. Although it was rather chilly still, the entire city was blooming. There were flower beds and pots everywhere brimming with tulips and daffodils, some of my favorite spring time flowers, and everything just felt fresh, new, and alive. I think Vancouver is definitely a favorite of mine and it makes me intrigued to travel a bit more in Canada; I’m thinking Quebec or Montreal next haha.
Whether it’s the refreshing feeling of being in a new place or that tulips are the embodiment of spring to me, I’m not sure, but I’m finally content and ready to depart these chillier months and head straight into Spring and Summer. I’ve started reorganizing my closet to make room for all the pieces that haven’t been loved enough since last year and I’m probably due for an all around spring cleaning session, I’m saying clothes, makeup, everything. Just a overall declutter and organization overhaul to help me get into this fresh new mindset. Hopefully, I continue to ride on this new-found inspiration and come up with some fun springy posts, makeup looks, or something to help me (and you hopefully) get further into the Springtime mood.
(delicious hot chocolate I picked up at a really cute french cafe called Theirry in Vancouver)
