This afternoon I finally ventured into the depths of Beverly Hills to visit the famous Rodeo Drive. It know, it’s a bit crazy to not have visited this iconic LA site yet since I’ve been living in LA for over a year now, but it was quite the experience. After parking and grabbing a bagel for a snack, I headed down this glamorous street past the beautiful storefronts lined with luxurious clothing, bags, and jewelry. I was very much in awe of everything that surrounded me, for the wealth in this part of Los Angeles is incredible. Casually pasting Rolls Royces and Ferraris, I let myself absorb the craziness of it all. I have to say, my favorite iconic site on this street were the beautiful stairs next to the Tiffany Store.
After doing a bit of roaming, I wandered onto Beverly drive, a street parallel to Rodeo and began exploring some shops a little more in my college student budget range. I took a look into All Saints to admire their incredible leather jackets and of course Sephora drew me in for a bit too. Unfortunately I couldn’t wander for long because I had a busy day a head of me and I desperately wanted to avoid Friday traffic in LA, so after my Sephora visit, I made one last stop in Ice-cream Lab. Ice-cream Lab is this really cool ice-cream boutique where they actually make the ice-cream in front of you! Using nitrogen, they mix in all the ingredients and freeze you one of their unique flavors. I got the salted caramel one and loved it! So all in all I’d say that I enjoyed Rodeo Drive and I’ll definitely be paying more visits soon.
