Mini Sephora Haul: Skincare Lovelies

As my school year came to an end and move out chaos began, I managed to wander make a be-line to Sephora during some last minute errands. I guess my rational was that I should get all of my shopping out of the way before I left the metropolis of Los Angeles and ended up back at home, Sephora-less. Naturally, I came in to pick up one thing, a makeup remover of some type, and left with a few extra bits, so I though I’d share everything I picked up.

My original goal was to check out some cleansing oils since I had recently tried out a sample of the Tatcha Pure One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil and absolutely loved it! But unfortunately when I went to pick up a travel size, they were out of stock, so I decided to try out the Boscia Makeup Breakup Cool Cleansing Oil instead. This is such an amazing product for taking off makeup. I use half a pump and massage it into my dry skin, all over my face and around my eyes. It does a great job of breaking down all my tough eye makeup and leaves my skin makeup free. I like to apply this right before I jump in the shower and then just rinse it off. I think that the Tatcha version gives a cleaner finish, but I honestly don’t mind the difference because I finish off with a cleanser anyway.

The next product I picked up was the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream. I have been interested in this product for a long time, but I never managed to pick one up. What really sold me about this product was that it is really healing and repairing for this skin. I thought this would be perfect for both my upcoming travel which always reeks havoc on my skin as well as repairing my skin after too much fun in the sun. Also, this product is a real bargain at $12.

The last thing I picked up was the Sephora Argan Hand Mask. This mask comes in Avocado for nourishing and repairing, Aloe Vera for for moisturizing and beautifying, and Argan for anti-aging and evenness. Being a fan of Argan oil, I picked that one up, but come to think of it, I probably could have used the nourishing and repairing benefits of the Avocado mask more. Maybe I’ll pick up one of those in the future if I like this formula.

Well that’s everything I picked up in my most recent Sephora visit. Let me know in the comments below if you’ve tried out any of these products and what you think of them. I also love to hear recommendations, especially since I’m on the hunt for a great makeup cleansing oil. Don’t forget to check in tomorrow for a new video: Makeup and Skincare Empties!
