Farewell to Fall

After spending my Thanksgiving in Georgia with my family, I was a bit sad to return to the LA heat (it also could be the fact that I returned only to take finals). The weather in Georgia was absolutely beautiful. Clear skies and chilly mornings really make me think of the holidays. Unfortunately by the time I return to the east coast I will have missed the majority of the beautiful Fall weather and the colorful leaves, but luckily, a southern winter is pretty mild, so I don’t have much to complain about.

I’ve always enjoyed the colder months. I love Fall and Winter fashion, especially when it comes to layering, because I feel that you can really play around with different pieces so much more. One of my staple wardrobe pieces is my navy suede leather jacket. I love this piece because I can wear it with everything. Because it is cropped, it complements my petite figure by highlighting my waist. I love wearing this jacket with dresses, both T-shirt styles and more fitted ones, and high-waisted jeans. It keeps me warm enough in Fall weather, especially during the day, and I can add a scarf at night for added coziness. Also, the moto style adds a bit of an edginess that can really complement my personal more feminine style. I’ll be sad to see Fall go, but at least with the end of Autumn comes Christmas, so I’ll survive.
