Faire du Shopping & OOTD

The last few days have been pretty low key. I’ve been able to do a lot of exploring on my own and really get a feel for this incredible city. Luckily the sun finally peaked through the rain and the clouds for a bit yesterday and I was able to spend some time outside in the sunshine and warmth. I took a long walk though the latin quarter and crossed over the river to do a bit of shopping. After scanning through a few stores, I stopped in for a peak at Zara and was completely sucked in. For some reason everything seams so much better in Paris, especially the shopping. Maybe it’s the french atmosphere, or the Parisian style, but when in Paris, I am always inspired to push my boundaries and wear things that would usually intimidate me. After getting a little carried away (I may have tried on ten things haha) I headed back over the river with my enormous shopping bag, which did seam significantly oversized for the amount of clothing I had actually purchased, to meet a friend for crêpes. Of course I went the wrong direction and became dreadfully lost, but I was able to wander through a beautiful part of town I had never seen before. An hour after I had originally planned, I finally made it back to the latin quarter. With crêpes in hand, my friend and I headed back to the 11ee arrondissement to get ready for an evening out with some friends. DSC00285_fotor OUTFIT
