Classic Red Lips and Winged Liner (Video!)

DSC04190

One of my all-time favorite looks is the classic 60s inspired red lips and winged liner makeup look. This look is so sophisticated and effortless and is perfect for a dinner date, a night out with the girls, or a formal event. When focusing on a statement lip, I like to keep my entire face pretty neutral with understated but glowy makeup. Since the lips are the statement, I want to focus on healthy, fresh looking skin. In this look, I used the naked basics 2 palette and Mac pigment in naked to create a beautiful neutral eye look. For my cheeks, I focused on bronzing in order to create a warm glowing complexion. I used my Soleil Tan de Chanel, aka the Chanel bronze universal cream bronzer, to add warmth to my face. I finished off my face with the Mac mineralized skin finish in soft and gentle for a glowing complexion. Lastly, I applied my statement lip. You can keep it classic with a red lip, but honestly with this makeup look, you can wear any color you want.  Check out my tutorial below to see how I achieved this look.

I hope I’ve inspired you to recreate this classic makeup look!
